• Festetics Castle

  The first attraction that the day starts with is the Grandiose Festetics Palace’s inerior and exterion visit:
  The Festetics Palace is a Baroque palace whose construction began in 1745 and lasted more than a century. During this period, the palace, which was first erected on the foundations of a destroyed castle, was tripled in size in two consecutive building projects, most recently in the 1880s, following plans by Vienna-based architect Viktor Rumpelmayer. After Rumpelmayer's death in 1885, the construction was completed by architects Gusztáv Haas and Miksa Paschkisch. The result is one of Hungary's three largest country mansions, which today houses the Helikon Palace Museum.

  
  

• Tihany

  The second attraction that we go on with is the Famous Tihany Peninsula and Benedictine Abbey - walking tour and inner visit of the abbey:
  Tihany peninsula gives home to the Benedictine Abbey founded in 1055, the thatched roof houses of the atmospheric old village of Tihany, and a corso with terrace offering breathtaking panorma of Lake Balaton.

  The place with the greatest historical significance on Lake Balaton is Tihany, a peninsula jutting 5km into the lake. Tihany village, perched on an 80m-high plateau along the peninsula’s eastern coast, is home to the celebrated Abbey Church.

• Tagore

  The third attrection that we have as last is Balatonfüred’s Tagore Promenade and it’s harbour
  The town has two marinas, a string of carbonated mineral water springs, listed buildings from the middle of the 18th and the 19th centuries and fine restaurants. Although a shipyard was once the town's largest employer, now that place has been taken by the State Hospital for Cardiology. The largest industry is catering and providing boarding and other accommodations. The town has a pier, a harbour, a large camping site and several private marinas.
  In winter, the lake may freeze over for weeks so that skaters and ice boaters take over!
